Project overview
Vana is building a protocol for personal-data portability and permissioned access. A Personal Server stores user data locally by default, while access to specific data scopes can be granted to applications and revoked, including through MCP for portable memory.
Data Liquidity Pools let contributors combine verified datasets and distribute rewards, including for the creation of training data. The Vana blockchain records rights, permissions, and pool activity but does not train models itself, so its role in AI is to provide user-controlled data and context.
