Ocean Protocol

Ocean Protocol is a decentralized platform for exchanging and monetizing data on Ethereum and other EVM networks. It uses Data NFTs and Datatokens to control access to datasets and implements Compute-to-Data, which lets algorithms run against private data without moving the underlying information.

Through Ocean Nodes with CPU and GPU support, the project enables federated learning and distributed AI model training.

Within Web3, Ocean provides data infrastructure for AI, including a dataset marketplace and Predictoor for AI-based prediction bots. Its AI relevance comes from privacy-preserving machine learning and controlled data access for models.
