Data Network

DATA Network is a purpose-built Layer-1 blockchain for verifiable data provenance, consent, and usage rights. The network records an auditable history for registered data, including its source, licensing terms, and related payments.

The project now concentrates on infrastructure for licensed datasets used by AI companies and research organizations. Trace and Confidential Data Rails provide provenance checks and controlled access to confidential data.

Story Network became DATA Network in June 2026, and the IP token became DATA through a one-to-one migration. The network continued operating without interruption.
