Qubic

Qubic is a Layer-1 blockchain using Useful Proof of Work (UPoW), which directs miners' computation toward training AI models rather than arbitrary work. The network uses Computors for consensus and Aigarth, its neural-network-based AI system, which miners train in a decentralized process.

Oracles bring real-world data into smart contracts and Aigarth models. The project describes feeless transactions, throughput of up to 15.5 million transactions per second, and instant finality. Its stated goal is to support decentralized AGI development through useful computation.

AI is central to the design because UPoW directly trains neural networks during each epoch.
