Project overview
Forta is a distributed blockchain-monitoring network in which detection bots analyze transactions and blocks, while scan nodes run those bots and publish alerts. Wallets, protocols, and exchanges consume the resulting threat intelligence through subscriptions and APIs.
Only some bots use machine learning, while others rely on rules and heuristics. The separate Forta Firewall uses the FORTRESS model to score and block suspicious transactions before they reach the chain, so AI is important to specific defenses but is not the mandatory foundation of the entire Forta Network.
