Edge

Edge is decentralized cloud infrastructure running across thousands of independent nodes worldwide. It provides compute, storage, and content delivery closer to users, reducing latency and aiming for a lower environmental footprint than conventional cloud infrastructure.

The project supports AI inference and machine learning on lower-cost GPUs, allowing users to run and train models with broad availability. The EDGE token pays for services and incentivizes node operators.

It provides infrastructure for AI and other Web3 computation with an emphasis on edge computing, but does not include specialized verifiable-AI or zero-knowledge technology.
