Saga

Saga is Layer-1 infrastructure for launching application-specific blockchains called Chainlets. Each Chainlet gives an application its own block space, so developers do not share load and fees with unrelated projects.

Saga currently presents itself as a hyperscaling platform for AI and crypto applications, while its Saga AI initiative covers AI agents, characters, and related user experiences. AI is not, however, a fundamental consensus mechanism or compute layer of the blockchain.

Saga's role in AI crypto is primarily infrastructural and application-facing: it provides a place to run AI applications, games, and agent products. The project has a clear AI component, but classifying it as a fully AI-native Layer 1 would require caution.
